Trade Zap is seeking a meticulous Manual Tester to ensure the quality and functionality of the MyIndustry Hub product. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering flawless user experiences. Experience with automated testing is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web-based applications.
• Perform thorough regression, functional, and usability testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
• Ensure that the final product meets customer requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
• Assist in the development and implementation of automated testing tools and frameworks (bonus).
• Report testing progress and results to the QA Lead or Project Manager.
• Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience: 1 to 3 years in manual software testing; automated testing experience is a bonus.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Skills:
  • Proficient in manual testing methodologies for web and mobile applications.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Basic knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
