Position Summary:

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the quality assurance process to ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will work closely with the development team to identify, document, and track defects, and ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about software quality and eager to learn and grow in the field of QA.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects.
• Report and document bugs and issues using tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Collaborate with developers to understand features and improvements.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Assist in the design and implementation of automated test frameworks.
• Perform regression testing to ensure issues are resolved and no new issues are introduced.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.
• Stay updated with the latest QA trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Skillset:

• Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Basic programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
