Job description

We are looking for a proactive and strategic MBA intern to lead market research and analysis in key industry sectors, including Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing, IT & ITES, Textiles, and Retail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting one-on-one interviews with decision-makers to gain insights into their current application systems, challenges, spending patterns, and future requirements. This internship is structured as an independent project, with findings to be compiled into a comprehensive report assessing potential opportunities for developing or enhancing software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research & Needs Assessment:

    • Conduct on-site and virtual interviews with stakeholders across various industries to understand their existing application systems, key pain points, budget allocations, and future needs.
    • Gather and document insights on current challenges and gaps in technology solutions.

Competitive Analysis:

    • Analyze and document the software solutions currently in use by these organizations.
    • Develop a competitive matrix comparing these solutions, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas for improvement or innovation.

Report Development:

    • Summarize findings and insights into a well-organized report, providing recommendations on potential areas for new application development.
    • Assess the feasibility and potential impact of proposed solutions on addressing customer pain points.

Status Reporting & Collaboration:

    • Provide daily status updates to the project manager, ensuring clear communication on progress and any roadblocks.
    • Collaborate closely with the team to align findings with broader business goals.

Requirements

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Basic understanding of marketing principles and consumer behaviour
    • Ability to work outdoors
    • Comfortable speaking to small groups and individuals in public spaces
    • High energy and enthusiasm for engaging with people
    • A self-starter with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
    • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
